Reporting Intellectual Property Infringement – Skulixten
At Skulixten, we take intellectual property rights extremely seriously. If you believe your copyrighted work or trademark is being used on our platform without authorization, you may submit an infringement report. Our team will promptly review all valid notifications and take appropriate action.
Content Removal
Once we receive a complete and properly documented infringement notice, Skulixten will, in good faith, remove or restrict access to the reported content without delay.
Repeat Violations
Accounts associated with multiple confirmed infringement reports may be permanently suspended to maintain the integrity and safety of our platform.
How to File a Complaint
Your intellectual property complaint must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work or trademark, including registration information (if applicable)
- Clear identification of the infringing content, including:
- How the material infringes your rights
- The exact URL or page on Skulixten where it appears
- Your full contact details: name, mailing address, phone number, and email
- A sworn statement, under penalty of perjury, that the use of your content is not authorized
- A declaration that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
After We Receive a Valid Notice
- Content Removal: The reported material will be taken down or restricted promptly
- User Notification: The uploader will be informed of the removal
- Repeat Offenses: Accounts with multiple violations may be permanently deactivated
Submitting a Counter-Notice
If you believe the content was removed by mistake or you have legal rights to use it, you may file a counter-notice containing:
- A description of the removed content and its previous location
- A sworn statement, under penalty of perjury, that the removal was due to an error or misidentification
- Your full contact information (name, address, phone number, and email)
- A declaration consenting to the jurisdiction of a U.S. federal court—or Skulixten’s jurisdiction if you reside outside the U.S.
- Your electronic or physical signature
If a valid counter-notice is received, Skulixten may notify the original complainant. Unless a legal action is filed, the content may be restored within 10–14 business days, at our discretion.
Important Legal Notice
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, knowingly submitting a false infringement report can lead to significant legal consequences, including liability for damages and attorney’s fees.
